PEUGEOT 3008 1.6 CUW FWD 5 DOORS
Nearly four years after its launch, the Peugeot 3008 received a significant refresh in the summer of 2020, giving it a bold new front design, a larger 10-inch touchscreen on the center console, and updated driver assistance systems. The moment you step inside, the eye is immediately drawn to the wide, driver-oriented center console and Peugeot's distinctive i-Cockpit. This design, with its compact steering wheel, continues to spark debate as its low positioning can obstruct the view of the digital instrument cluster for some drivers. Speaking of the instruments, they are fully digital, offering various customizable displays to suit individual preferences.
In the rear, passengers will find ample space, though the modularity remains somewhat limited. The rear seats, while comfortable, may not provide enough support for the legs of taller passengers due to the short seat cushions. Despite these minor drawbacks, the 3008 still manages to offer a comfortable and roomy environment.
Much like its sibling, the Opel Grandland, the engine lineup of the 3008 is somewhat limited. On the petrol side, the only option remaining is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine producing 130 horsepower, which in 2023 will be supported by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. For diesel enthusiasts, the 1.5 BlueHDi with 130 horsepower is still available. Above these, there are three plug-in hybrid models: the Hybrid 225, the Hybrid4 300, and since early 2023, the Hybrid 180.
On the road, the 3008 stands out for its impressive comfort, absorbing bumps and imperfections with ease. Yet, despite its increased ground clearance, this SUV delivers plenty of driving enjoyment, especially when you pick up the pace. However, despite its SUV appearance, the 3008 remains a front-wheel-drive vehicle, with the exception of the Hybrid4, which features all-wheel drive.
From the very beginning, the Peugeot 3008 has made a strong impression with its eye-catching design and well-crafted driver's cockpit, which wraps you in a cozy, refined environment unmatched by many of its competitors. It’s an SUV that not only excels in comfort but also offers an engaging driving experience, making it a standout in its class. Whether you’re behind the wheel or simply enjoying the ride, the 3008 is a vehicle that embodies both style and substance.
PEUGEOT LANDTREK
The Landtrek is a powerful pickup designed to handle tough jobs with ease. With a maximum payload capacity of approximately 1,200 kilograms and the ability to tow up to 3,000 kilograms, this vehicle is built for strength and versatility.
Under the hood, the Landtrek is equipped with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine, delivering 211 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, ensuring robust performance in all situations. For those who prefer diesel, there’s also a 1.9-liter four-cylinder diesel engine available, which produces 150 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Both engines come paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, but a six-speed automatic transmission is also available for added convenience.
Weighing in at 1,950 kilograms, the Landtrek is primarily a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, but it also offers four-wheel drive for those who need extra traction and off-road capability. Whether you're hauling heavy loads or navigating challenging terrains, the Landtrek delivers the power, reliability, and flexibility you need to get the job done.
